Yes it was dark....yes it was cold....but nobody realy minded because our girls were playing the parents (well, mostly the dads!). Coach Rik promised the girls that they would have a chance to play against their parents at practice tonight -- they have been waiting for this match up for weeks! The girls did awesome, and held on until the very last goal, when the parents scored the tye-breaking goal. The girls wanted to keep playing, but it was so cold, and so dark, they had to stop. Actually, I think the parents were tired anyway! I'm sure quite a few of them were sore the next day. Martin did great -- it was fun to watch him play again. Soccer was his favorite sport growing up and he just loves the fact that both of his girls love the game, too!
