A beautiful fall day for a very special celebration! We were at St. Ann's Parish to celebrate and witness our God daughter, Valerie, receiving the sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation. It was Bishop Supich's first visit to St. Anne's parish, so it made the occasion all the more special. Martin was sad to have missed it (he was in SF for the funeral of his cousine, Martin Reyes) -- but I took enough pictures for him to feel like he was there! Audriana was with Anna Ackerman at her soccer game, and Sofia was with grandma, so I was able to give my full attention to Valerie and really be present for this special day for her.October 15, 2011
