The Game Truck is the hotest new birthday party in Spokane! It is such a great idea and the kids just love it! Ever since Audriana experienced it at Justin Meadow's party a few months ago, she knew that this is what she wanted for her 9th birthday party. It's a large trailer that houses 4 huge flat screen tv's that can be divided into 4 each, making 16 stations. The kids get to "get their game on" for 2 hours straight.....and the best part is that the Game Truck Guy takes over and I get to relax! We decided to have the party at Comstock Park, where the kids could also run around and release some energy before they entered the Game Truck. It was a beautiful fall day and because it was a Sunday afternoon, it felt like we had the entire park to ourselves. We began at 3:30 with cake (Harry Potter, of course) and presents, then the Game Truck from 4-6pm.
Here is who celebrated with us: Grandma and Grandpa, The Sandbergs (Scott, Lisa, Ryan, Noah, and Micah), Aunt Kristi, The Lunds (Todd, Denise, Everett, Kendra, and Addy), The Meadows (Angie, Justin and Jake), Nikki and Caleb Hindman, Anna Ackerman, Alfred, Troy, Charlie, and Cooper. What a good group of kids -- so well behaved, and so excited for the festivities! One person that was absent, sadly, was Martin -- he was still in SF for the funeral of Martin Reyes.
Look at all the games that are available! The guy gets all the kids started and engages with them for the full 2 hours - making sure that everyone knows what they are doing and that everyone is having fun! He's just amazing!
What a fun afternoon -- Audriana said that it was her best birthday party ever (but I'm pretty sure she says that every year). We are so proud of the young lady she has become....growing up so fast right before our eyes.
