A very Merry Christmas this year!

Oh my....where do I start?  Well, I do believe that this was probably the BEST Christmas EVER!  Since Mom still had the girls (they spent the 23rd with Grandma shopping, wrapping, baking and having fun!) we just met them at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on the 24th at 2pm -- just in time for their last rehearsal for the Christmas play! Mass was at 3pm and we were there early enough to get a front row seat....we certainly didn't want to miss a second of their debut as angels in the play.  It was so sweet!  And the girls did a great job -- everyone did and it was a wonderful part of our celebration.  Father Mark did such a good job with the Children's Mass -- probably the best Children's Mass I have ever been to.  He had all the children in Church come up to the alter and participate in most of the Mass.  After Mass was over, we drove out to Mom's with Mom and Kristi.  Mike met us there and we had our traditional chili dinner all together.  Again, we were missing Todd, Pam and the girls.....but we know they were home in PA having a wonderful family Christmas together, too.  Lily is home from college, so that makes everyone happy!

After mass, we all drove out to Mom's and munched on all the goodies that the girls had helped Grandma make the day before!  They were so proud of their creations and just couldn't stop eating it all!  Yikes!  Only at Christmas......LOL!
Aunt Kristi and the girls in front of the tree -- waiting patiently to open up presents!
I love this family picture...you can tell just how happy we all are!
Grandma's tree was filled with gifts for all of us -- but mostly for the girls, of course!
Oh yah, the girls received letters from Santa in the mail!  He was watching  all year long and told them that he was so proud of them both!  The letters were very detailed with information that only our family (or Santa) would know.....

Sweet family pictures....thanks, Mom, for the great night!

Sofia opened up her first gift -- and it was a Nintendo DS!  Aunt Kristi got a HUGE hug from miss Sofia.  She really wanted that!  Then Audriana opened up her gift from Aunt Kristi - and it was a KINDLE!  Geesh!  What a great Aunt!!!  Thank you Aunt Kristi!  We love you!
