Alfaro Forever!

The Alfaro Family: I am a very lucky girl. Who else gets to move away from Spokane, land a great job in San Francisco, and meet the most amazing Nicaraguan man of her dreams while living and working there? I do! It's my life! Martin felt the connection too, and his persistance in dating me paid off (right, honey?!). He was the exact opposite of me, which intrigued me immediately, and was the beginning of many long conversations -- his childhood experiences in Nicaragua, his amazing story of how (and why) he came to the United States, his love of the San Francisco Mission District and his passion for the Latin music scene were all fascinating to me (and still are!). I've always said that it is our differences that keep us so interesed in each other! After spending almost 10 years together in San Francisco, we moved to Spokane, got married, and had 2 beauiful girls - Audriana (10) and Sofia (7). They are full of life and keep us busy every minute of every day. I thought this blog would be a good way for us to share our fun times with you and keep us connected to all of you!
