Montessori Central has become "an old friend". This year marks my 6th year dropping a child off here. Audriana went for 4 years, and this will be Sofia's 2nd year. It felt good to be taking Sofia there again this year. She did go last year, but only from 9-noon. This year is different...longer days...lots more learning. She'll go from 9-3pm and she is very excited about getting to stay for circle, lunch, math class, and going outside. Her good friend, Addy Lund, is also back, so that made her feel good. Other friends that are back: Zach, Gweneth, Sophia T, Hannah, Theo, Leo, Astor, Alice, and many others.

Sofia's teachers are back too! Mrs. Pipella, Mrs. Medina, and Ms. Kowabata -- strike that -- make that Mrs. Henry! Congratulations on her wedding!

By the way, just like her sister before her, Sofia marched right into school and didn't look back. She knew the drill -- take her shoes off, put on her slippers, hang up her jacket, and get to work. I had to call her back to give me a hug! I did stay a few minutes to take a few pictures, though!
