Teal Seal Soccer fun!

Sofia woke up with a crick in her neck yesterday...it is a bit better today, but not much!  She has a very tight knot just below her left ear.  She had team pictures today, plus a game, and she really didn't want to miss it, so we decided to let her coach know and they came up with a plan.  If she was feeling like she was hurting, or needed to come out of the game, she would give him a special signal.  Well, she did great....running down the field with her head cocked to one side.  Poor little thing!  What a trooper!  Her coach would rub her neck during the breaks  --  it was so cute.  He's been such a wonderful coach!  He is Kiki's dad, Keith MaGeagh.  We really hope he decides to coach again next year!

Sofia and Addy are a force to be reckoned with on the soccer field!

A day with Sofia (at Montessori Central)

So fun to be able to spend the morning at MC with Sofia.  This is her last year here, so I thought it would be nice to take a day off from work and spend it with Sofia.  I am so proud of her progress.....I just can't believe the things she has learned.  I am such a big fan of the Montessori method and process.....both girls excelled in their early years and I believe it has given them such a huge jumpstart in their learning!  Look out 1st grade....Sofia is coming!!!

Sofia is ready and spelling at a very high level.  My little Smarty-Pants!

It made my day to be able to sit in on Martin's little drumming session  with the MC Kindergartners.  He is getting them ready for a performance at the end-of-the-year picnic in June when Sofia and her other MC kindergartners will graduate!

Sofia ready to drum!
Theo is a great drummer, too!

Susan G Koman Race for the Cure!

Audriana's soccer team (Spokane United Black Widows U10) learned a beautiful lesson in giving back and volunteering -- how perfect for a group of young ladies to volunteer their time to such a wonderful cause. They were sponsored by UPS (thanks Jayme Carter!) and spent 4 hours Saturday afternoon at the Convention Center. Their job was to hand out t-shirts and registration packets to the attendees. Then, they were back down at 6am on Sunday morning and helped again to set up tables and tents for the big race. They completed the race with their coach, Rik, jogging the last mile or so. We had a tired bunch of girls at the end of the race! I was so impressed and proud of these ladies!

Easter 2012 is here!

Happy Easter everyone!  Are our girls the only ones that get up at 5:40 am on  Easter Sunday?!?!  Geesh!

And the hunt begins.....I made them wait until 7am.  Ha!  The Easter Bunny did a very good job of hiding the eggs, but the girls found all of them!

All dressed up and ready for church.  Aren't they BEAUTIFUL?!?!

Met at Patty and Chad's for brunch....YUM!  Sausage souffle, fruit, cinnamon rolls, and spinach salad.

Oh yah....and dessert!  Marissa and the girls made these cupcakes, plus the bunny cake!

Marissa is home from PLU -- she's in her freshman year and having so much fun.

I just love my cousin, Patty!  She's a wonderful person -- and such  a great host.

The Easter  Bunny hid some eggs at the Wilhite's house, too!
