It was one of the hotest days of the summer -- 97 degrees and the kids needed to be near the water. Angie and I packed everyone up and headed out to our favorite spot on the Spokane River in Post Falls (but very close to C d'Alene). It's called Mill River development. We packed snacks, towels, music, water, more water, and headed out. The kids swam their tail off -- jumping and diving into the water over and over again. We spent almost 5 hours out there! Geesh! It was fun to catch up with Angie. Matt has been gone about 7 weeks now (working in North Dakota), but will be coming home in a few days. They are thrilled that he will be able to be home for about a week!
