Audriana's team got to be the ball girls for the Spokane Shine game today.  It was so fun and it was our first Shine game. Man those girls are good!  And our girls weren't too shabby either!  

 The girls began Catholic Vacation Bible School on Monday and Sofia decided on Monday morning that she wanted to make a t-shirt to wear for her first day.  Here it is...front and back.  It's all Sofia....from start to finish.  Geesh....I love her to death!!!  Jesus must be so proud of her.  God must really love her little heart!

Happy 10th Birthday, Maria!

It's 8am Sunday morning.....we are all so excited to begin our little road trip to Missoula!  We will be meeting up with the Bennett's so we can celebrate Maria's 10th birthday.  This year we were thrilled to be able to bring Addy with us.  Sofia and Addy are such cute friends and it really reminds me of the friendship that Audriana and Maria had at that age.  We dropped Ginger off with Jayme Carter, who graciously volunteered herself, Bailey and Hannah, to puppy-sit for us!   Then we were Missoula bound -- a short 3 hour drive.  

We're here!  The Missoula Courtyard will be our home for the next 36 hours or so!

 I just had to snap a quick picture of Mr. Alfaro -- I've begun calling him Rico Suave.  Look at that head of hair!  WOW!

And here is Audriana and Maria -- the girls wanted to get into the pool first thing!

 The girls wanted McDonalds for their lunch.....so Joye and I went and brought the food back to the pool area so the kids could swim and eat at their leisure.  They were so happy!

 Martin and I took Addy and Sofia to this great little park -- the girls had lots of fun on the monkey bars (even got some calluses to prove it!)  Audriana stayed back at the hotel with the Bennett's -- they wanted to just be together playing in the room.  They made a fort in the corner of the room with the sheers, chair, pillows and blankets. LOL!  It was nice to see these two reconnect -- and they always seem to just fall back in step with each other.  We are grateful for their friendship....and we are so grateful for the friendship of Addy and Sofia, too!

Off to dinner at a Mexican restaurant -- it was Father's Day, too!

 Then it was off to Coldstone for ice cream (Sorbet for Addy!).....I'm sure this was the Dad's idea, aren't you?  We were all smiles eating our treats!

On the way home, we stopped for a few minutes at the Cataldo Mission.  We all got out and stretched our legs and use the bathroom.  We decided that we would put this on our list of things to do this summer and come back when we have more time to really explore this wonderful place!

First Spokane Indians game of the season!

Thank you, Jayme Carter and UPS, for getting us free tickets for tonights game against Vancouver!  Even though we lost, it was still a lot of fun!  Audriana and Sofia had fun with Bailey and Hannah!  

 It was about 80 degrees when we got there at about 6pm.  The game began at 6:30 and was still hot for quite some time.  Then, all of a sudden, the sun went behind a cloud -- which upon closer examination was actually a big, bad, rain cloud.  The temp dropped and the rain sprinkled on us quite a few times.  Nothing major until about 9:30 when it really started to rain.  The Indians were down and there was only 1 inning left, so we decided to leave.  It was a fun night!

Because it was family fun night, they had $1 hotdogs, sodas and ice cream.  They also had this cool science dude that was helping the kids make their very own SLIME!  Cool!

Leslie Lowe from KHQ was there tonight doing a live weather broadcast.  I had to take this picture of Jayme and the kids watching her from where they were standing in line for the slide.  She is very pretty in person -- was wearing 5 or 6 inch wedge shoes and had tons of makeup on (for the camera, I guess).  Anyway, it was kinda cool to see her.
